Headquarters and armistice.
The Municipality of Sintiki’s tourism strategy associates Vyroneia railway station with the Greek military headquarters and the Second Balkan War armistice in 1913.
What we do not claim
We do not say that the Treaty of Bucharest itself was signed in Vyroneia, invent an exact day, or assume that the site is currently open or operating as a museum.

Before travelling specifically for the station, seek current information from the municipality or another responsible source. A historic reference is not evidence of a current passenger rail service.
